Vay Tiền Nhanh Chỉ Cần Cmnd. What’s the difference between a safari park and a zoo? Commonly used interchangeably, the two certainly differ in principle. While most zoos cage animals for exhibition, a safari park lets their animals roam free resembling a real wildlife should consider going on a safari adventure with Bali Safari Park – to add to your Bali experience, and learn more about a huge variety of a close wildlife encounterZoos are known to keep animals enclosed and deprived of their natural habitat, consequently leaving them bored and depressed. Safari parks provide them with this liberty, which gives animal lovers the opportunity to get to know the animals as if witnessing them in the on a safari fills you with adrenaline rush. There’s nothing more fun and adventurous than crossing paths with magnificent elephants and dining in with a pride of lions. A safari adventure gives you the upfront exposure to experience wildlife up-close and true cultural experienceA standard zoo is generally built on an artificial setting, while a safari is fringed with exotic plants and remarkable landscape. Not only will you meet animals, you will gain knowledge in the wonders of flora and other natural beauty, which beats any man-made creation. Safaris give you a genuine cultural experience in its true form, not limited to human construction. Hi smithfamtravel. Have you tried using the search function in the forum here to see what people have suggested previously to this question? Or read through the reviews/visited their websites to see which might suit what you are looking for? I haven't been to either park, so can't help with a personal opinion, but here are just a few examples of previous posts I found by searching for "zoo or safari". If you don't get more responses to your thread here, I would try reading through a few more of the 35-ish pages of results from that search term. ;

You are able to take your own photos with animals and the staff will even use your phone if you ask, you aren't required to buy any. We got so many great photos but we bought one anyhow because its a nice souvenir if you don't want toys or tshirts. Also if you research in advance you can buy a package that includes lunch and an animal feed ticket! You just have to buy drinks if you like but they have free water at the restaurant. The food is buffet style and is fresh and tasty, and suitable for all dietary requirements veggies, tofu, tempeh, fish, chicken, and beef. Considering our package included transport it was a total bargain and the people who are complaining should consider researching tickets in advance and appreciate what's on offer. Although it may be small, the chance to encounter all of those endangered species up close and in some cases in your arms! is unforgettable and I definitely would recommend it for someone who has only been to large zoos where animal sightings let alone encounters are minimal. I got to hold a gentle monkey, bear cat, and baby crocodile! And feeding the elephant was the highlight of my trip I don't regret the USD the extra bucket of food for him cost me...it was so much that I shared it with a family of boys who wanted to try it. Not some kind of rip-off whatsoever. Entry cost for family of 4 is US $ 100, Photos cost $16 , Elephant rides $50 70 metre ride, hand feeding animals incurs additional cost, the charges don't stop. The flora is interesting, but the Zoo itself looks a little tired, not many animals to look at, and enclosures are cramped and small. I was surprised we weren't charged an exit fee !! Level Contributor 2,689 posts 42 reviews 31 helpful votes 1. Re bali zoo vs bali safari 8 years ago I am a big fan of the Zoo, it is half the price and I think for younger kids they would like it a lot more. Level Contributor 100 posts 28 reviews 11 helpful votes 2. Re bali zoo vs bali safari 8 years ago Hi I am a fan of Bali Zoo especially for younger kids. It's a good day out without being too overwhelming. We were there's today with three 9 year olds. They keep doing it up and since January there is a new mini type water park, which is great for little kids as it is shallow and quite contained and new and clean, there are elephant and pony rides, petting zoo and opportunities to handle animals today was a monkey, little croc and a bear cat. It only cost 15US for kids to enter, but it can add up if you get the rides, buy food for feeding the animals, photos etc, but definitely worth going. Level Contributor 2,689 posts 42 reviews 31 helpful votes 3. Re bali zoo vs bali safari 8 years ago Just a tip in regard to cost if you go to the zoo. If you book online at the zoo website you save about 15% or if you book in the Bali discovery website you save more. Take some food and drink so you don't need to buy it or eat before you go. And I brought a big bag of peanuts and was allowed to feed the elephants, it was an awesome experience. Level Contributor 15 posts 2 reviews 5 helpful votes 4. Re bali zoo vs bali safari 8 years ago We have been to both with our now 3 and a half year old. The zoo is much better for little ones; it's a manageable size for a day excursion with smaller petting area is great fun! We won't be going back to Bali Safari until she is quite a bit older. Level Contributor 18 posts Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 21 Apr 2023, 917 pm Hello, I am designing an itinerary for me, my wife & 5 year old daughter. We are planning to book 1 night stay at Mara River Safari Lodge. I was just curious if it makes sense to also visit the Bali Zoo. Our motivation for staying at Mara River Safari Lodge is the experience with all the animals especially the Lion & Giraffe. For Bali Zoo, it is mainly to experience Orangutans closely. Thinking of breakfast with Orangutans. My plan was to dedicate a day for Bali Zoo including maybe breakfast with Orangutans and then head over to the Bird Park. Another day would be staying at Mara River Safari Lodge along with doing all POSSIBLE activities in a day I do not want to spend experiencing the same things at different places on 2 different days. Please let me know if any additional information is required. Thanks. Level Contributor 4,090 posts 85 reviews 52 helpful votes 1. Re Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 21 Apr 2023, 926 pm If you are doing Safari Park there is no need to do the zoo as well. Level Contributor 18 posts 2. Re Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 22 Apr 2023, 122 am So if we skip Bali Zoo, is there anything activity or animals which we would miss seeing? Level Contributor 2,264 posts 10 reviews 9 helpful votes 3. Re Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 22 Apr 2023, 1026 am I visited Bali Zoo for Breakfast with Orangutan, last year Sept. Buffet breakfast, two Orangutan on elevated platforms one with baby & ropes so they could swing. Two elephants pay for a basket of fruit if you wish to feed them and staff with a Pangolin & Porcupine. Various birds Macaw, black cockatoo, parrot. Walk through the Zoo, we watched the white tiger in it's overhead run as it was fed by staff, sat to watch the animal presentation. We have visited the Safari Park during the day & also for the Night Safari 2019. Level Contributor 12,217 posts 52 reviews 83 helpful votes 4. Re Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 22 Apr 2023, 1043 am You will have more animal interactions at the Safari Park. At the zoo you can have breakfast with the Orangutans and at the Safari park you have breakfast with the lions. Level Contributor 12,217 posts 52 reviews 83 helpful votes 5. Re Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 22 Apr 2023, 1048 am I forgot to mention that you can feed the Rhino, deer and zebra from the balcony of your room. There will be a bucket of food to throw to them in your room. Level Contributor 18 posts 6. Re Bali Zoo vs Mara River Safari Lodge 28 Apr 2023, 1242 am Apologies for replying late. Thank you for your inputs. My main interest in the Zoo was interaction with Orangutans. However, if that is fulfilled at the Safari park, that would make me skip the Zoo. On a youtube video, I did see Orangutans at the Safari Park but I'm not sure if they really have that interaction as in the Zoo.
